Commission a Piece of Jewellery, A Step by Step Guide
Robert Spotten has been making and designing jewellery since 1977. Robert will spend time discussing your project to ensure that the end result is what you are looking for.
STEP ONE: Decide on a budget. This makes it easier for our designer to propose designs which are within your budget. You will be given different options around that budget.
STEP TWO: Make an appointment to see Robert. Do a little bit of research first, think about the shapes and styles you like, colours etc. If you are buying for someone else, find out their ring size, chain length they wear, colour of metal they like. Their birthday, children's birthday, hobbies etc. Robert will try to integrate some personal details into the design, so make sure you find out as much as you can.
STEP THREE: Agree on a design from the different options proposed by Robert, once a deposit is paid, work can commence. It can take between 2 to 4 weeks to finish a project, depending on the design.
STEP FOUR: Collect your piece of jewellery or we can send it out to you after payment has been received.
