Robert Spotten - Irish Fine Art

Before Robert Spotten started his jewellery apprenticeship at 17 years of age, he had been painting wildlife in watercolour and gouache. Fascinated by the natural world, Robert loves walking in the Irish landscapes and observing birds and other wild animals. 

Based on the North Coast of Ireland, near the Giant's Causeway, Robert combines his love of birds with the love of the surrounding area, fantastic seascapes with stormy seas and dark clouds contrast with other milder days with the sun reflecting on a calm sea.
