This happy puffin waddling around on Rathlin Island grass is made by Marie-Louise, one of our Northern Ireland artists which we have the pleasure to represent. Puffins on Rathlin island can be seen from late April until the third week of July, a trip we would highly recommend, as the ferry is just down the road from the Puffin Gallery.
Marie-Louise is one of the most talented felt maker in Northern Ireland. Her felt images look like real paintings and it is only on close examination that you realise that wool has been used with such skill and detail that you cannot fail to fall in love with her work.
Size of the piece:36.5cm x36.5 cm.
This piece is in a beautiful white glass frame which brings out the wonderful details of the work.
