Bright bold colours define Alison's paintings. Alison is a Northern Irish artist who has been painting in different media but her preferred one is oils.

Alison's good sense of humour and love of life are found in her subject matter and colour choices, exploring the world in many facets , colour , pattern , perspective,perception, and light , somehow enabling the strange relationship between spectator and the painting with a sense of fun and wonder.

"My goal is to inspire those who see my work to perhaps look more carefully at the world around them , to discover beauty in unusual places ."
